Moreno and I headed to a Brocante (a sort of Antique Flea Market) in Le Landeron. The village had a charm - with the houses in the old town painted all different pastel-y colors. And all sorts of vendors! And so many people! I was surprised by how crowded it was. But walking through the charming city on a beautiful day, it was easy to understand why so many people were out and about.
I was going to buy three books - mini guides to different cantons. They were 2 francs each. But then, I was offered the entire collection for 10 francs. Not willing to let an offer like that pass me buy, I bought the series. Now the question is how to get them back to the States.
On our way back to Fribourg, we stopped in Morat. Which is another delightful city in the Canton of Fribourg, nestled alongside a lake.

(Le Landeron.)
(I'm apparently not the type who passes up an opportunity to eat a brat.)
(Morat.)
(More Morat.)
(These black and white shutters are typical of the Canton of Fribourg - representing the Fribourg flag.)
(Mo. And the Lac de Morat.)Morat reminded me of reasons to appreciate Europe:
(Pissers in the streets.)
(Pedestrians wear hats. And the children wear cloaks.)
