Morat-Fribourg

Speaking of Morat, yesterday I went to go watch the runners of the Morat-Fribourg race. as they arrived at the finish line. It's not a marathon, but it's a pretty big deal, I guess. It was a beautiful morning for a race. The leaves are starting to turn gold and red. The sun was out. And crisp fall air.

But, I must say, the crowd was LAME*. No cheering. Except when someone saw a friend. And I was near the finish line! You would think that people would cry out: You're almost there! This is the last hill! You can do it! But no - only occasional applause. And not much else.
Come on Swiss. Turn it up a notch.

At any rate, there was an amazing display of chicken. I should have bought one. Only 10 francs for a chicken, chips, and water!

*The link has nothing to do with Morat-Fribourg. And the LAME is not referring to Albright, of course.
