Sorry, Switzerland. But you've got nothing on the US. At least in terms of license plates.
The first two letters of the code on the Swiss plate also indicate the canton the car comes from (e.g. GE for Geneva, FR for Fribourg...). The plates are white, with a Swiss-shield on one side, and then a shield representing the canton on the right. Some plates don't even have the added bits of color.
